The pleasant aroma of lavender sparks memories. And just as lavender oil lingers on our skin, our interactions with others can be a pleasing aroma, reflecting God's love.

The broken sunflower was not defined by its brokenness. It did what sunflowers do: it lifted its head toward the sun. I can do the same.

I have always had daylilies in my garden - as a visual reminder of the truth that the Creator clothes the lilies ... and also cares for us. And he bids us lift our eyes above daily challenges to kingdom thinking.
